“Rustle, Rustle Autumn’s Here” - Book Trinny’s 🍁
Lymington transforms into a magical blend of coastal beauty and woodland gold during October and November. Situated on the southern edge of the New Forest National Park, this Georgian maritime town offers the unique advantage of an autumn break where visitors can enjoy both the crisp sea air and world-class countryside. Below is a breakdown of why I think autumn in Lymington is so beautiful. The Coast & Marshes: The brisk autumn walks along the Keyhaven and Pennington Marshes Nature Reserve offer sweeping views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight. Migrating wading birds arrive by the thousands, creating a peaceful backdrop for coastal ramblers. Gold-Hued Woodland Walks: Just minutes inland from the town, trails like the Brockenhurst to Lymington route and Rhinefield Ornamental Drive burst into brilliant shades of amber, copper, and deep gold. Quay-Side Charm & Markets: The bustling Saturday charter market on Lymington's Georgian High Street stays lively all through autumn. Visitors love grabbing hot coffee at quayside spots like Coffee & Drift after watching the morning mist clear over the yacht marinas. Unique New Forest Traditions: October marks the famous New Forest "pannage" season, where domestic pigs are released into the open forest to eat fallen acorns, providing a rare and delightful wildlife encounter. Lovely local pubs and restaurants all within walking distance to relax in after a day of exploring. It’s all yours!
Located in Lymington, this apartment is in a rural area and near the beach. Southampton Cruise Terminal and Lymington Pier Ferry Port are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore New Forest National Park and Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Travelling with kids? Consider Lymington Sea Water Baths, or check out an event or a game at Civic Centre. Flstvwas beautifully decorated for xmas, it was warm and comfortable and host made sure that everything was good and kept in touch. Great location and weather was perfect. Bus stop literally across the road so we took bus trips along the coast and into the new forest. Had fantastic festive break thankyou Tricia
More a 2 bedroom house than an apartment, the property is light and very spacious with large front room, full kitchen and cloak room downstairs and 2 bedrooms and large family bathroom upstairsOn the end of high street so close to all that Lymington has to offer
Very handy and central property which is well maintained. Plenty of room and great access to the New Forest, Isle of White and the beautiful coastline.
good location everything you could need little noisy with traffic
stayed 5 nights over the heat wave shame not all windows opened-but understand this is being fixed soon-street noise loud until midnight but that's town life. Good location for shops and restaurants Easy to get to lots of interesting days out and new forest
The accommodations are in an excellent area on the commercial street of Lymington, where they put on a very interesting market on Saturdays. The apartment lacks nothing and is super comfortable. I loved the notes that the owner leaves as an instruction manual. She is,
Near the accommodation you can find a Waitrose supermarket, another M&S, different Indian pubs, cafes and many more different types of food.since I'm talking about her, charming and super
nice.
This is a well equipped & comfortable apartment. It is ideally placed to enjoy the shops, pubs/restaurants, coffee shops, attractions, etc, of the town. It is also ideal for exploring the New Forest.
This was just what we where looking. it does suffer from some noise, the shower isn’t tall enough for anyone who’s 6ft+, front door is up a narrow flight of stairs. literally everything else was perfect and exactly as per the advert

If you like the sound of the M25 you will love this property. Arrived Friday pm left early Monday am. Electric blackout blind in the bedroom not working, had to put black bags up at the window. Only 1 bath towel each for a week's holiday. After complaining 2 more arrived on the Sunday. Lumps of plastic tape hanging of the corner of the dining table. Altogether probably one of the worst holidays we have had.
Clean, well equipped and in the perfect location for exploring the surrounding villages and New Forest itself. We could not have wished for a better holiday apartment.
A surpringly spacious apartment in the centre of Lymington with everything you will need for a perfect break. We all had a fantastic week so close to all Lymongton has to offer. The apartment was spotless and once you get used to the light traffic noise we all slept really well. Would highly recommend it and can't wait to return in the future. Tricia is the perfect host and nothing is too much trouble.
Clean and spacious apartment with the benefit of secure on site parking. The apartment is at the top of the High Street with easy access to all that Lymington has to offer. Due to the location some traffic noise can be heard in the bedroom but this did not unduly bother us. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided including books, DVD's and children's toys and the apartment feels as though you are staying in someone's home. Would not hesitate to recommend staying here!
