"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. The standard room we had was clean and comfortable with all we needed, unless you're a tea freak. There was a pod coffee maker in the room. Hotel is right opposite the Lille Europe and under 10 minutes walk from Lille Flanders.
We spent 2 days in Lille and 1 day we took the tgv to Paris (only 1 hour away)
Staff are friendly and accommodating.
Hotel has a continental breakfast, aswell as drinks, snacks etc.
Small fridge and coffee maker in the room. A few other guests stayed here and travelled by train to Disney paris.

Rooms have unusual and u comfortable furniture - I think it’s to encourage you to enjoy their neighborhood like lobby with a wine shops various food options and a sense of fun. Definitely would be attractive to younger folks. Typical European room with double bed and enclosed bunks beds. "
