Cozy, well-equipped 1-room vacation apartment in the middle of nature

  • A cosy and tastefully furnished one-room holiday apartment designed for comfort, featuring a kitchenette and dining area on the ground floor, with a large covered terrace and separate (lockable) exterior access to the terrace.
    No steps—ideal for guests with mobility issues, but just as good for cyclists who can park and secure their bikes right on the terrace. Very quiet location in the Schöntal area, right next to the forest and 150 metres from the Schöntal swimming pond. Schöntal has no through traffic—or very little traffic—and the speed limit is generally 30 km/h. A bus stop is about 100 metres away.

    An ideal starting point for extended hiking and trekking tours through the unspoiled German-French Pfälzerwald/Northern Vosges Biosphere Reserve, or for exploring the countless castle ruins and bizarre rock formations in the immediate vicinity, relax at one of Ludwigswinkel’s many swimming ponds, enjoy great mountain bike tours (direct access to marked trails right from the house), or take a leisurely road bike ride with no significant climbs through the Sauerbach Valley all the way to Wissembourg – Alsace,

    We’ll help and advise you on planning your trips and also offer guided (for a fee) hiking, trekking, cycling, and mountain biking tours tailored specifically to your needs.
