Check in is terrible. We checked in for two nights and after the first night they "blocked" our door because they said they had no record of our reservation. They eventually let us back into our room. The highway is noisy and busy all night. We found several roaches in the room. The microwave was not working properly. I won't never recommend this place to anyone.

The room was bare bones (bath towel but no hand towel or wash cloths and had a very strong unpleasant odor. The hallway also smelled bad. No instructions for the wifi. If you want to use the kitchen, bring your own utensils and dish soap, etc because they have nothing in the drawers/cabinet. The bed was excellent though. I wouldn't stay there again.

Customer service at check in and check out were super friendly. The place is a dump. It's dirty and smells musty all over. The room smelled like moldy air conditioner and when we walked in and turned on the light, roaches were everywhere - not just a few. The bed sheets had stains on them, although they smelled as if they were clean. A large group had the back door propped open and were having a "party" of sorts and there's no way employees were not aware. The elevator had dirt and trash on the floor. We stayed because there was nothing else available under $200/night, but do not recommend.

Would not recommend!
Came in at 10:30pm and couldnt get towels or an extra pillow because guest services closes early. Beds were comparable to a hide-a-bed, thin mattress on a metal frame and not comfortable, and the sheets were stained. No soap, shampoo, toothpaste or toothbrush available.

Room & stay was a complete disappointment. I checked in around 10:30pm, had it not been so late, we would have stayed elsewhere. After traveling 3 1/2 hours, my fiancé & I were ready to just get some rest. The room was unclean, from the dirty counter tops to the desk & floor was disgusting. No vending or ice machines. No coffee maker or coffee condiments in the room, the phone didn’t work, the bed should have just been listed as a queen rollaway, because that’s all it was. It was very uncomfortable, with only 2 pillows. When I went to the front desk around 10:45pm to try & get a coffee maker & 3 extra pillows, there wasn’t anybody at the front desk, the shade was closed. My fiancé seen the desk agent in the hallway & told her I was looking for her. She came up the front desk & told me then that nobody stayed up at the front desk at that time. I asked for a coffee maker & she said they had ordered some, but didn’t know where maintenance had put them. I suggested maybe she could get one out of another vacant room, but I guess they were booked? I asked when maintenance would be in & she said at 10am, told her we were checking out around 8am, so that wouldn’t work. She only had 2 extra pillows available. After going back to the room, my fiancé said the door lock face had fallen off when the door shut & the batteries were left exposed. I went to check out around 8:15 the next morning & the shade was still closed & nobody was around to let them know of all the issues we had.

Good area of town. I never got a room,I had a reservation. was told to come back an hour later room not ready . I was there exactly at 3pm. I came back three other times and told still not ready. At 9pm I was told they were sold out and all that was left was a smoknig room but I couldn't have it because they couldn't change the room type of my reservation from nonsmking to smoking. This was a Texas Tech parent weekend I could not find another room in the city in my price range, I had to pay $320 for one night at another hotel.

The location is the only positive about this hotel. As for the negative, the rooms were horrible, roaches running around, smelled like smoke, desk clerk was rude and out of 4 rooms, only 1 was correct at check in. I would never stay here again.

I never got to stay in the room because the lady at the front desk said they were updating their system. I already paid for my room through hotel.com and the lady said it would take 24hr to 48 hrs for my refund and closed the window and I was left stranded because she didn't know how to work the new system and I still haven't gotten my refund

Check in was the worst, they close there window at 8pm so you have to call a number when you get to the hotel. It took 1hr and half for someone to come check us in. We had to call three times before we could get someone to come down to check us in. We will not be back.

This was by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. The office was closed everytime we went down they only give you 2 towels for a double bed room with 4 people staying in it. Nobody in the office to give more towels when I finally found the office open they wanted us to take our dirty towels in order to get clean towels. 1 pillow per person that was so flat you might as well not even have a pillow ac keep turning off itself it smelled like smoke throughout the halls beds were super uncomfortable looked like camping beds

Front Desk Lady Rocked
Really liked the lady that checked us into our new room she was really friendly and made us feel welcomed. This place it nice they keep it clean. Only down side was like at midnight we could hear some kids running up and down the hallway it’s usually really quiet though my husband wasn’t too happy…but other than that like the place and staff

Really like the privacy especially if your gonna stay awhile this was our second week and liked that the Manager made sure housekeeping cleaned our room and we had everything we needed very professional.

Best Clean Up Yourself
Housekeeping only every 14 days so basically if you stay a week make sure you clean up after yourself this ain’t no motel with daily housekeeping…and they charge you a $1.50 to switch out linens and towels for new ones but it was nice and quiet liked that we had privacy and no concern that someone would just go into your room.

My family went to go check in there was no front desk apparently he had left 2 hours ago left the keys and quit. Current guests were also locked out for hours with no manager insight. It was a sold out night so I had to settle for this dump. Last time I'll be coming to Lubbock

Pick a different location.
Frugal long-term stay design is fine as a company policy. This location, however, seems to be lax on giving a damn about maintenance. My shower curtain had plenty of visible mildew buildup and the toilet still had some hardware store labels from part replacement.
