"Great value hotel in a lovely location with views over Newcastle harbour. Very modern vibe with great tech features in the room. Breakfast at the Monte cafe was excellent. Would recommend for a short stay in Newcastle. Only negative for us was the beds were too soft and air con quite loud, so had to turn off to sleep. Otherwise excellent. "

"A really well situated property close to Peterson House which was our meeting point for our hot air balloon ride at 5am in the morning. Comfy beds, beautiful spa bath and clean apartment but a little outdated. It needs a good touch up especially the furniture in the loungeroom. Pool area also very nice and we were close to Harrigans pub and restaurant. "

"I would like to thank the staff as they went above and beyond in making our stay amazing. From helping us in a pinch for some wrapping paper for a gift to bartenders know what’s a good whiskey. Absolutely amazing service. And an awesome breakfast and dinner too"

"The greeting when checking in was very cold and unfriendly… A smile would’ve been welcomed! a welcoming attitude would’ve been nice too. Nothing about the services were explained nothing about the meal. Nothing about the Internet or anything along those lines. It was just a very cold and what seem to be a robotic check-in.The hotel is very outdated but comfortable There weren’t any USB charges that I could see in the room. The beds were comfortable. unfortunately there was no body wash in the bathroom. It was completely empty.. check out process was easy and quick"

"The Crystalbrook in Newcastle was a pleasant stay for a weekend. The rooftop bar was great, though very busy and they weren't wrong - you need to book for dinner! The room was great, everything is fairly new so it was clean and not worn out. Location is walkable to lots of local attractions, Darby St and the waterfront are all walkable if you're able to. "
