I left my favorite blanket there by accident. I called and they mailed it to me very quickly! Also, the breakfast was delicious! We definitely will be going back but next time I want to be sure and get a room with a fireplace!
A beautiful historic site in the rolling hills of Vermont not far from from the Connecticut River and the White Mountains. An excellent restaurant and bar. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. Our room was large and comfortable. Excellent parking. A helpful and friendly staff. Attractive grounds. Highly recommended.
Very personable experience. The innkeepers are amazing and very helpful. Super quiet and relaxed atmosphere, while also being very luxurious. The breakfast is awesome, all made to order and fresh. The dinner @ 24carrot is a must do! Very nice and romantic, the food was amazing! Will definitely be back
The Rabbit Hill Inn is excellent. Room was great and the staff was wonderful. We found the restaurant to be in a bit in transition. Some of the dishes were great, but as a near vegetarian I found the options limited and not particularly successful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the the Inn and am sure the restaurant will find its footing soon.
The Inn is a lovely spot for a quiet and relaxing break. Tech free! So don't plan on watching a world cup game on your room TV!
One thing not mentioned in the reviews is that they have these cool stave puzzles you can put together in one of the sitting rooms.
When planning your trip, try to arrange it for W-S when their restaurant is open. The breakfast is served every day, and lived up to its reputation.
The staff are unusually friendly and helpful! Love that they serve afternoon tea and pastries.
We had an amazing stay. The inn was beautiful and clean. All of the interaction we had with the staff was amazing. The breakfast was also very good. We would definitely go back!
Rabbit Hill Inn is a hidden gem. Quiet and cozy. Decor is exactly what you think of with a Vermont inn. Breakfast is upscale and delicious. Nice little pub for drinks and a bite to eat. Our bartender, Evilyn, was the nicest lady. Loved her! We adopted a stuffed bunny to remember our visit.

Kudos to Rabbit Hill for their outstanding staff. The inn managers, servers and bartenders are exceptional and made us feel very welcome. Housekeeping did a fabulous job with the room. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, kid free, pet free, clean and charming inn. We were there off-season, and we loved it. We especially enjoyed the Snooty Fox Pub and 24 Carrot restaurant, which has a gorgeous fireplace! Special recognition to Sydney, Philip Courtney and Victoria. We had a memorable stay and hope to return next year.
We stayed at the RHI for a late summer weekend getaway. As people in our early 50s, we want a nice room, kept-up grounds, great food, and others our age to meet and chat with. The place was perfect for us. Our room was the Nest, and it was spacious and comfortable. We used the jacuzzi in the room. We loved the breakfasts. Tea time treats were amazing. We didn’t use everything the Inn had to offer, but we appreciated it all was there. The RHI is near Franconia Notch State Park, and that was our main activity in the area. It too was breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay greatly and highly recommend the RHI.
When you imagine a perfect Vermont inn experience, The Rabbit Hill Inn checks all the boxes. From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming staff greets you, gives you some history of the Inn, and a tour, then shows you your beautiful room. The rooms have a classy New England charm, with attention to detail including snuggly robes, a magnifying lit mirror to put on makeup, and our room was appointed with a working fireplace. The breakfasts and dinner at 24 Carrot were fabulous, fresh, tasty, and again with attention to every detail. The staff consistently over delivered on service the whole stay, taking time to really get to know the guests. It is the quintessential Vermont inn venue!
We were very happy with our stay. We originally chose a room which wasn’t what we expected and the staff was wonderful helping us pick another one. Everyone from the restaurants to the Innkeepers were great.
We loved the old world charm of the place. The host and everyone who worked here were wonderful. This is a place worth visiting and I highly recommend it.
Was on our bucket list and glad we finally made the reservation. Loved this B&B for a romantic getaway. Well maintained property with historic appeal. Welcoming staff on arrival - felt personal and inviting. The Hampshire room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Old English vibe. Dinner and the complimentary breakfast were delicious. Enjoyed walking around the property and playing some of the outdoor games. Definitely will be back.
