The outdoor area was perfect to setup some outdoor games and sit outside while cooking up a BBQ. It felt nice and private and away from the hustle and bustle. The view of the river was a bonus and it was only a short walk to get there. The accommodation was only a 20 min drive to Queenstown centre and a 5 min drive to the nearest shopping centre with supermarkets etc, it was also nice and close to all the wineries and other amazing spots. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a godsend, as were the electric blankets, fireplace and heaters (we're from Perth so -2 deg temps were VERY chilly for us!). Spacious rooms, plenty of seating, kitchen was well-equipped. Huge fridge too. The views - WOW. Snowcapped mountains in the near distance took our breath away every time we looked outside. Shelley was so quick to respond to any questions, and made sure our stay was perfect. Location is about 5-10 min from a major supermarket and shopping outlets, very handy.
