"The property was nice and clean. Parking was easy, right on the property. Located right on the beach and footpath, so the ocean view was nice. The owner supplied all of the usual conveniences in the kitchen and bath. I was concerned about the Alexa device that seemed to be always listening, so we unplugged it. The radiator beside the tele was emitting an electronic signal, but I could not find the actual source. We were unable to operate the heating, so it was a little chillier than we expected....

Top Lower Gledfield Hotel Reviews

Marine & Lawn Dornoch

10/10 Excellent

"Stayed for a solo golf trip. Room, bar, food all excellent. Will bring a group back here for golf in the future. Great bar with pool room for a group trip."

Kincraig Castle Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The castle itself is so beautiful and cozy, but the staff absolutely make the experience. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary there, and the staff went above and beyond to make our time there special. Vijay was so friendly and accommodating, and really made us feel welcome and valued. We enjoyed a lovely dinner there, and our servers Anne and Denise, as well as Vijay, were so sweet and again just made us feel so special. Rajesh was also so awesome, and contributed greatly to our amazing experience. We also wanted to give Joyce a shoutout, as she was so kind and helpful with allowing us to extend our stay an extra night as there was a terrible storm we couldn’t drive through. All of the staff went above and beyond for us and truly made our stay so special. Additionally, the room was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the robes provided were so cozy. Just overall such a great experience, we couldn’t recommend it enough!"

Former Lodge House to Swordale Castle

10/10 Excellent

"Great cottage in a nice remote part of the Highlands. Everything as expected, Beds comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers, logs provided for wood burning fires, kitchen fully equipped and a lovely garden for exploring. My only issue that was resolved quickly and professionally directly by the owner was the use of the EV charger. If you are booking this cottage because its advertised as having an EV charger, just confirm usage during booking. We had a fantastic time. Many Thanks"
