The carriage house was basically exactly as described in the listing. Everything was clean and felt new/close to new. I think the only surprise was how large the apartment is. If we had a critique it would just be that the owners could add a dining table and chairs and it would still feel spacious. But that's just personal preference - others might have a different use for the floorspace. Outside of the carriage house, the location was great and easily walkable. We enjoyed several of the local restaurants and shops, walked around the neighborhood, and I went for a nice run to and around Cherokee Park. Everything was clean and felt safe, and compared to our home in DC, there was a very chill vibe. Very enjoyable. Finally, the owner was super responsive about arrival/departure, and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Location is perfect for visiting downtown, NuLu, or about anywhere else you'd want to be in and around the city. Clean, comfortable, open space, and an extra bed in one room for your friend who needs to crash rather than drive home after a night at the distilleries. Only issue we had was that given the high ceilings in the main room, cooling the place down took a while in the unseasonably warm weather.
