"The room was wonderful and bedding was great. Beautiful well maintained/restored historic property at the edge of a cute little town. Unfortunately midweek, the on-site restaurant and pub were closed, but there were a couple other options down the street. Absolutely delightful staff, very pleasant and accommodating."
"We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future ones will have a lot to live up to! Highly recommend and thanks again to Olivia! "

"Really enjoyed 3 nights/4 days at this property. We were up for CalPoly graduation and managed to find time for the Arcata Marsh, Farmers Market, shopping at Holly Yashi jewelry, hiking the Ladybird Grove, touring the Cal Poly campus and an eco-cruise on the Madaket in Eureka. The house was very comfortable, easy to find, had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!"
