The Castle Ivar

  • lovely roof deck and Jacuzzi with a spectacular view over looking Hollywood. Close to Universal Studios and Hollywood Bowl The Hollywood sign and a short walk or Uber down the hill to all of the night life. . 6 en-suite bedrooms and the 7th sleeping area is inside a tower turret over looking the city and hills Many huge deep sofas that can also be slept on for large groups. House does have a lot of stairs.

AMAZING

The owner of this place is an ABSOLUTE LEGEND. I reached out to him right after I booked it and he offered to give me a call to walk through the location to make sure I was comfortable with the booking. After I was at the location he was willing to give me a tour to explain the small details of the house. Even during our stay, the house was big so I occasionally had some questions about specific rooms and he responded immediately. 10/10 would recommend staying here. The pictures sell it itself but the hospitality was top notch. Love the stay!!

A Man's Home Is His Castle

If you're looking for your castle, you've found it in Hollywood. Great for large groups, just make sure you're ready to climb stairs, medieval stairs in fact. Great communication and promptness from the owner. Would recommend.

Unique property, great location

The house, in this location just walking distance from the Sunset Strip, was a perfect place to show our out-of-town family and friends the best of classic Hollywood nightlife.

The host was available to answer any questions and the house has a very neat history and layout. Was very comfortable and the views of LA from the roof are spectacular especially at night. enjoyed our 2 night stay!!

Extremely Gorgeous!!

Renting this castle is like a dream come true!! It has so many twists and turns, there’s never a dull moment. We had a party of 9 and there was more than enough space. The hot tub on the roof was my favorite!! The kitchen is beautiful and spacious. The only con we found with the property was parking we had two full size suvs and it was difficult to park them on the sidewalk. But other than that it is a nice neighborhood, beautiful house , close to everything. Overall I would love to stay at the castle again. ❤️

This castle must be seen to be believed. We had a great reunion of old friends in town for a wedding. All the bedrooms and extra sleeping space makes it great for a group. And the roof is amazing!
