It is our mission to ensure that our valued guests enjoy their stay with us! This is a permitted vacation rental with the City of LA Home Sharing Dept. We also have an equally as important commitment to our neighbors and our community. Below are the house rules that we must enforce. Please read them as well as all your guests prior to confirming your reservation.
This is a short-term rental property only. No Tenants rights apply. You must check-out on the date your contract finishes.
* Minimum age to book is 25 years old. Valid photo ID will be required, as well as names and ages of all your Guests.
* Check-in is after 4 pm | Check out is at 11 am.
MAX NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS 8 - includes infants. Extra Guest Fee applies
The Property is to be occupied by no more than the maximum sleep number stated on reservation unless approved in writing by Management. If Guest exceeds the occupancy limit and falsifies occupancy information at the time of reservation, Guest shall be subject to eviction. "Occupants" includes small children, infants and any and all visitors. If more than the maximum number is found to be occupying the Property at any time, you agree that a charge of $100 per person/per day will be made to your credit card. Additionally, this Agreement may be immediately terminated without a refund of any amounts paid. No Exceptions.
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS - due to the City of LA's strict ban of parties of large groups we need exact headcounts of your guests at all times.
A party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by iTrip in writing prior to the arrival date.
NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS
Actions by guests that result in neighbor complaints or police being called to the Property will result in a minimum $250 charge, which charge will be used to deal with legal issues and fines.
CITY OF LA NOISE ORDINANCE - QUIET HOURS: 10 pm – 8 am. No Outdoor Music or Loud Voices during this time.
NO SMOKING Smoking is allowed outside only. If any trace of smoke is found inside the home, there will be a strictly enforced $500 fine and the cost to eliminate residual odors.

* In the event of an emergency to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, we reserve the right to enter the property.

The view is really extraordinary. The pics online don't begin to show you what you'll see. The house is really clean and I'm pretty picky so that's saying something. Itrip, the folks that you communicate with ultimately about this reservation, were very accessible when we had questions. I'd definitely stay here again.
This place is gigantic and has amazing views. The kitchen and bathrooms were very nice, although the furniture was a little dated. This place was terrific, and Uber were adept at ferrying us up and down the hill.
So many positive things to say about the accomodations. We so loved being in Los Angeles and yet so removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The views were amazing, the finishes as well.
Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the premises. I will definitely be back when visiting my daughter.

I grew up in West Los Angeles, but had never stayed in Laurel Canyon. The views were incredible, from sunrise to late evening, the City that never sleeps did not disappoint.
Central location in Laurel Canyon, high on a hill with amazing views from almost every room. Terrific Kitchen and stove, Friendly Host and found the property fairly easily. Know that you are in a very windy hillside area and narrow streets for parking. I had a full size SUV and it made it through with no issues. Highly recommended for up to three couples each with own bedroom and bath and plenty of space and spaces to hang out
House was very clean with comfortable beds. The view is as described and is really fantastic enjoyed the balcony space and relaxing in the evening. Lily from itrip was helpful in getting us in early and communication was great. Can’t wait to come back. If it matters internet was spotty at times but we didn’t care all that much.
The house was very impressive, comfortable clean and the view at night overlooking the city of Los Angeles is beyond description. We didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time in the house because the purpose of our trip was to attend the Jimmy Buffett tribute at the Hollywood Bowl . The time we did spend was very enjoyable definitely five stars.
We were slightly worried we had picked the wrong location as everyone said stay in Santa Monica, glad we didnt this is a great loaction. The view is stuning... and it is so peaceful even thought you are close to eveything. We learnt everthing is 30 mins or more to get to but if we were in Santa Moncia it would have been so much worse... West Hollywood has a great vibe and close by... House couldn't have been better...
When planning our first family trip to LA area, I wanted someplace special. Our kids are in their early 20’s so everyone is much happier with their own room and bathroom. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath was idea and it was BEAUTIFUL. It really looks exactly like the photos. We loved the stunning view of the canyon and at night it was AMAZING! Right out of La La Land the movie.
Very helpful, cooperative and available owner. A few suggestions:
More mats for bathroom -- floor is as slippery as ice in and out of the shower; MBR TV is very difficult to operate, and needs new remote. Electronics / remotes in main liv rm floor are confusing.
Parking for one car only, and takes some practice. View is the best we've ever seen in L.A. Roads are very narrow but not a big problem. Good beds.Good storage.

A Peaceful Escape with Breathtaking Views
Our stay at Beech Knoll Lodge was everything we hoped for and more. It was the perfect respite from the nonstop pace of Los Angeles—just minutes from everything, yet it felt like a serene hideaway. We spent our days exploring and our evenings simply soaking in the incredible jetliner views. The ever-changing skyline made it feel like we were living inside a painting.
I’ve always wanted to experience life in the Hollywood Hills, and it was amazing to feel like a local for the week. The peaceful atmosphere, paired with the stunning surroundings, created the perfect environment to relax and reflect. I even found the time to start writing my book—something I’ve talked about for years but finally found the inspiration to begin.
The home itself is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and recently renovated with a modern touch while preserving that warm, cabin-like charm. We especially loved the vaulted ceilings, spacious layout, and it has a firepit for cozy evenings under the stars.
Lilly and Danny were fantastic—responsive, helpful, and made everything seamless from check-in to check-out. You can feel their passion for taking care of their homes and their guests. Whether you’re visiting for a family getaway or just looking to unwind in style, this place truly captures the magic of the Hollywood Hills. We’d come back in a heartbeat.
We recently stayed at Beech Knoll Lodge in Laurel Canyon. Exquisite location and serene atmosphere with stunning views and easy access to Los Angeles attractions, making it a convenient base for our city adventures. The ease of calling Ubers further added to our overall satisfaction with the location.
The lodge is well-equipped with modern technology, ensuring a comfortable stay, and cleanliness throughout the home was noteworthy. It was well- suited for our family, providing ample space and privacy for everyone.
While the decor and furnishings are adequate and align with the property’s vibe, they don’t exude luxury. The home presents a unique charm with its eclectic mix of decor, signaling that many improvements have been made. However, it’s clear that these remodels, while appreciated, were done on a budget. This DIY aesthetic, although endearing, might not align with the expectations of guests accustomed to high-end accommodations.
Our main critique centers on the bedding, towels, and pillows. The quality here was disappointing—the pillows in the master bedroom were thin, firm, and dingy, and the other bedrooms featured low-quality, thin foam pillows from Target, which made sleeping difficult for us. At this price point, better quality bedding and pillows are an absolute must.
This place is a dream. We arrived at night and were lucky that the evening was clear and so we were wowed with the views as we walked in.
The property could do with some updating in the kitchen area and the coffee machine didn't work as it seemed to require descaling, and there were no instructions for it. However, the appliances are excellent and we enjoyed making some breakfasts and dinners when we didn't go out.
The mattress in the main bedroom feels very soft and old, the one in the second guest room is much better. The bathrooms were both good.
The lounge areas furniture is very comfortable, and we found the slightly dated desogn of the room really appealing as opposed to a sterile white box. The TV is enormous, but as you're really paying for the views it is much better to turn the chairs to the floor to ceiling windows and gaze out with a glass of something in your hand.
We found the property agent quite poor. We had reminders to send our ID when we had already done so, and it was explained this was becuase they work across different platforms and basically can't track it - really?! They also sent a message whilst we were out one day to say they had let themselves in to retrieve an item a previous guest had left behind - totally unacceptable, as there is no safe to store valuables and in any case we would gladly have arranged to meet them and hand thee item over if asked. Their messages about checkout were also haraunging and rude.
Fantastic stay. The views are worth it, the house is worth it. Stocked with everything we needed. Very clean. Narrow roads to get there in our big SUV but totally worth it! Recommended 10/10.
Coming up the stairs, seeing the view, stops you in your tracks. It is breathtaking. The rooms were all comfortable and well appointed. The beds were great, the bathrooms convenient, there was lots of space. The parking space was tight, we had a Suburban to accommodate our group, but appreciated that there was a space for parking as the roads are extremely narrow. We loved our stay!
