The current beach access is located at the public access point located just a few hundred feet down. Great location for long walks on the beach, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and sunbathing. Walk to the Malibu Pier. Steps away from Nobu, the SoHo House, and seconds away from the sand. The Malibu Country Mart is approx. 1.2 miles away and is reachable by foot or car. Getting Around: Malibu Sand Suites are located in the heart of Malibu within walking distance to the Malibu Pier and just steps away from Malibu's most iconic beach, Carbon Beach. Since this villa is managed by us, you will automatically receive preferred rental rates through Drive Awhile. Drive Awhile simplifies the car rental process by leaving your rental car at the property with keys inside. You can also leave the car at departure and work with our concierge to arrange your airport transfer. A $95 service fee applies to all requests. 11) Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing. 12) Parking: There are three garage ports at the Malibu Sand property; however, only the second and third ports are for the guests staying at the Malibu Sand Suites. The second port can accommodate two vehicles and the third can accommodate one vehicle. So, there are a total of three spots. You will receive one parking pass and you cannot park in any of the three spots without the parking pass. If you are not able to get a spot, then you will need to park on PCH. Note that the handicap spot is ticketed by the police - as are all handicap spots in California. So, do not park there - or anywhere - without the relevant pass(es). The police will not hesitate to charge you +$500 for parking where you shouldn’t. Cleanliness: We take our cleaning seriously. You can trust that our homes are thoroughly deep cleaned between guest visits. All of our homes have white hotel-style linens, white towels, toiletries for our guests, and well stocked kitchens with high-end appliances. Amid COVID-19, our cleaning intensified: surfaces wiped with hot water and disinfectants. All towels and linens washed, regardless of appearance; many hotels don't. Door handles and high-touch spots get extra care. Staff wears masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. Our exceptional cleaning surpasses CDC standards. This property contains an exterior camera at the front door which is motion sensored and is active during guests stay. We are a professional vacation rental hospitality management company. Located on the beach side of PCH with private beach access and beautiful views of the ocean, PCH, sunrises, and sunsets from our roof top studio. Very satisfied and impressed with the studio, its design & layout, sound proof windows, comfy bed & linens, and the amenities provided. Friendly and attentive staff as well. The space is exactly as shown in pictures and is perfect for a couple. A suggestion we have is to have a smaller table and second chair for eating at or have a table and chairs on the outside private area. We did use the kitchenette in the mornings to make our coffee and toast/warm bagels/croissants. The private patio is also a great place to watch the sunset. ##### Carrie B. I wanted a quiet, safe place by the ocean to unwind after dropping my son off at college. The private beach wasn't accessible due to high waters, but there was public beach access within a block. A short walk down the beach and I was away from the few families enjoying the sunny day. It was just what I needed. No detail was left out. There were beach chairs for our stay. The studio was impeccable. All fixtures were high-end and modern. It was spotless (and I am obsessed with clean spaces). The communication was perfect and the property team was so helpful with my questions. It is in a desirable location within walking distance to Nobu, The Farm, and other gems. The bathroom has spa amenities including a rain head shower, Toto toilet, and super soft towels, slippers, and robe. I enjoyed sipping on a Nespresso coffee in the morning while sitting outside in my private green space. When I arrived everything was very clean. Although there is beach access, it was too rocky for my bad ankle, but luckily there is a flatter public access way to the beach just a block down.
