Santa Monica law requires hosts to be present during the guests' stay. I live on-site on the 2rd plus 3rd floor upstairs and will be available throughout your stay, but we have our own entrance and space separated from you. Our host could not have been more helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable and available. We needed some beach chairs and she brought them down quickly along with an umbrella which was so appreciated. We will definitely come back and stay again because the house (felt like a home) was in a great location and super chic! The apartment we rented takes the first floor of the home and was beautifully decorated, well laid-out, perfectly cleaned, and well-appointed for all our needs. The owner and host (Pei) was available, communicative, and very helpful. She really wants her guests to have a great stay and works hard towards that end! Not only was the apartment very comfortable for us, the neighborhood felt safe and we were within pretty quick driving distance of all the destinations we wanted to visit. We walked and scootered to the beach often and the big sites (like Universal Studios) were all within a half hour drive or so.
