This property was ideal for 3 adult couples. The main floor kitchen, dining and living area was excellent, very light and open and had a great view. Our biggest surprise was that there was no free wifi/internet connection, though our other friends who also stayed in Lorne all had free wifi. As International travellers this was a disappointment. Information at the house suggested to go to the local cafe for connection but that was not easy to find as many businesses in town were closed. Additionally, there unfortunately were quite a few dead and alive "daddy longlegs" which we had to take care of in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the shower in the laundry room was extremely small so it was difficult to move around in! It is large and doesn't feel cramped even though there were 8 of us staying there. There are 28 steps from top to bottom but we considered it good exercise. The bathroom on the bottom floor is very basic but the one on the middle floor could be shared. The view is nice over the town and out towards the ocean. It is only a very short walk to the shops but a short uphill walk back, again good exercise. The kitchen was well fitted out and good enough for cooking meals if required.
