The exterior is charming and timeless, whilst the fully renovated interior with quality fittings and European appliances is nothing short of adorable. Far from your modern sprawling open plan living, Lotti's cottage uses simple furnishings and artwork to create a bright & intimate beach home, perfect for couples or small families. Lotti's is somewhat of an iconic landmark with a rich history spanning generations. Amongst the collection of historic Lorne homes, few boast a position in the very heart of town with the beach and shops on your doorstep. Nowadays, waterfront locations with views and modern amenities are for the most part reserved for apartment living. Not anymore. Lotti's Cottage opening its door to you is a breath of fresh sea air. This beautiful little cottage has it all. Its close to all the shops and the beach. Although its quite small it has all you need for a great holiday. Youll need to bring your own BBQ though as this was missing , nothing like having a bbq on the balcony watching the ocean. We also recommend fly screens to all windows and doors as this prevents you from opening the windows and allowing the fresh ocean breeze in. Make sure you dont bring a trailer as this property does not have parking at alll. Great location and perfect for our small family weekend away in Lorne. It was nice to be able to walk everywhere for our daily coffee run and trips to the beach. Negatives - The kitchen was well appointed, lots of cutlery and crockery but no microwave and no cutting board. We didn't want to cut straight onto the stainless steel bench so had to buy a cutting board to use. - lots of traffic (cars and people) noise going past the house but it is right in the middle of town so you must expect some noise.
