My wife and I (the grandparents) stayed in the spacious 1 bedroom casita. We brought our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren (7 & 10) who stayed in the 2 bedroom pueblo. The family spent quite a bit of time in the pool, relaxing and reading, and the kids told us what a great time they had. Being only half a block from the town square is a huge plus with many excellent restaurants, cafes and shops within easy walking distance. Open Sky Villas is the perfect spot to get away for some peace and quiet, or enjoy the wonderful small town of Loreto and the surrounding area. My suggestion is to allow enough time to do both. Charlie and Salome are super hosts! The two houses, one with one bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen and living room had everything a couple could want. The other house had two bedrooms, each had its own bathroom, full kitchen and living room and everything to accommodate two couples or a single. The houses are very spacious! The courtyard is beautiful. With a pool and outdoor Palapa bar with great bbq area! We had such a wonderful time. It is very close to the town square with many restaurants, bars, shopping and the Malecon where you can also find great restaurants and the marina if you want to go fishing or to one of the beautiful islands with great beaches. Fortunately for us we found the perfect spot "Open Sky Ranch", a peaceful, safe and clean resort style Hacienda walking distance to the Plaza, Marina and the Mission! BONUS it has a courtyard with a pool, grill and sauna! The rental includes two separate air conditioned units for a total of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, each has its own kitchen and living room and they both open up to the pool in the courtyard. They were well equipped and super clean; they recently finished construction in the past few months so they are new and well taken care of. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how wonderful and responsible the owners were during our stay, they made it very special for my group especially Jimmy. They answered all our questions and gave us excellent advice about where to go and who to call while in town. They went above and beyond their call of duty... Bonus #2 Try the owner's wine, it is excellent! Yup - they produce and bottle it themselves - you'll have a fresh bottle waiting for you upon arrival! Overall my only complaint was that I had to leave - I'm planning to go back soon, hopefully towards the end of the year during the holidays and I will make sure to stay at Open Sky Ranch! ##### Alexandro C.
