Rustic, Artsy & Cozy Getaway Cabin in Laurel Highlands- minutes from Ligonier

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I loved our stay at this cabin. It is rustic, but immaculately clean and very charming. The king bed was comfortable, and the flannel sheets were a cozy addition during Fall nights. Lenor was an excellent host. She responded quickly to our questions, and she left a lovely welcome basket with ingredients to make s'mores at the fire pit. We ended up not making a fire while we were there because the weather was much warmer than expected for the end of October. Our host also provided a basket of supplies and toys for our dog! And her recommendations of places to go around Ligonier were great. We especially enjoyed Linn Run State Park. It was a beautiful place to go hiking, especially during the foliage season. We would definitely stay here again. The cabin is very close to the road, but it was very quiet at night and we had no trouble sleeping. It was a welcome surprise to have a full bathroom on each floor (shower, no tub). Both bathrooms were comfortable and very well stocked with supplies. We didn't use the kitchen during our visit because there are so many delicious restaurants in town. But the kitchen was well stocked for anyone who likes to cook. There was also a lovely coffee station set up in the kitchen."

Cozy Cabin Among the Trees - Rustic Charm, Modern Comforts, 26 Secluded Acres

10/10 Excellent

"This cabin is absolutely perfect if you're looking to totally unplug from everything! The cabin itself is extremely cozy. It's so clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace, too. As far as the surrounding property, the area is absolutely stunning with lots of room to hike and take in the beauty of the laurel highlands. This was our 2nd visit and we definitely want to return in the near future."

Boyer's Pond Campground

10/10 Excellent

"Cabin was wonderful - beautiful surroundings, quiet retreat, and tidy inside. The only challenge was that I booked on a Friday evening after the office closed, to stay Saturday and Sunday night of that same weekend. Luckily I reached a staff member by phone, when I arrived after dark on Saturday. Was able to get key and directions to the cabin, thankfully. Peaceful location."
