The Restaurant is also amazing. The wohle Interiors and common areas are so great. The only Small Negative Point are the Room Doors. You can hear every Single door opening. Anyway a Minor Point in this Great Place. It is a very walkable distance to the city center but far enough away to shake off the town when you want to. Having lunch and dinner as an available option on site is convenient but we very much enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Everything was so fresh and made with obvious love of serving. Although the rooms are not massive, they were big enough and it was so much more interesting than staying in a bland corporate hotel. The staff were amazing and the huge lounge area had a lovely homely feel. Don't worry about the shared bathrooms, they're large, well appointed and there are plenty of them. We would definitely stay again, and would recommended it to anyone. Funky, friendly, and fun! Amazing bar and restaurant plus super nice staff! They arranged for taxis to meet us and then to deliver us to the airport. We really enjoyed this hotel. It's comfortable with everything we needed, but also has an adventurous vibe. It's very unique in it's decoration/layout, and is a lot of fun to explore. Staff was nice/helpful, and the breakfast is pretty good too! They really embrace the Svalbard spirit, and as such staying here really enhances the entire trip. Great location as well since all the excursions pick up here, and it's a short walk to the main part of town.
