"We absolutely loved this hotel! The location is perfect, right in the middle of town. The footbridge from the property leads right to River Ducks ice cream, which is amazing. The hotel has a fire pit and a s’mores station, among so many other amenities. The continental breakfast was lovely and all the staff members were friendly and very helpful! Will absolutely stay here again!"

"This is a great property. We stayed for a long weekend and found it to be well equipped with kitchen items. It was clean, quiet and private. It's about a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor. This was not an issue for us, as we prefer to stay in the less busy areas of MDI and there are various points of access to Acadia. The hosts add a lot of nice touches that you dont always find at other places. The grill was cleaned and maintained with nice for no extra cost. There was wood provided for the fire pit and a welcome basket to full of s'mores items, bug spray and a citronella candle, etc. most of the rooms had an air conditioner for when it got warm in the middle of the day. I would definitely recommend this property as it offers a lot and was fairly priced."

"It was a wonderful place. One morning I walked down the street to get coffee, breakfast rolls, and bought some souvenirs.Everything was very comfortable except for the futon. They may need to get a more comfortable place to rest after being outdoors all day."

"Staff made up of family was very friendly and took the time to answer questions about local restaurants and to find me a spare blanket. Rooms are like what you find in a bed and breakfast. Big front porch with rocking chairs for guests. Nice breakfast layout. Outdoor fire pit. Very nice."
