Long Lake Provincial Park

I wanted to give 2.5 stars. The location was great for us however our room was not refreshed on day 3 of our 4 night stay. After being told that housekeeping came in every second day, we did not experience this. We found a dirty sock under one of the beds so not sure how thorough housekeeping is anyway. Breakfast was a bare minimum breakfast with strange round egg omelette(?) things and a variety of bread and cereal. While in a good location, it is not in a desirable area of the city so we were uncomfortable to use the rear parking lot

The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. They helped with paying for parking and gave clear instructions and when I had a little issue with payment they were very patient. I've stayed here three times now and I will always come back as it is my favourite hotel in Calgary.
