"Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of seating room. Room was very quiet, although there was an odd smell that we noticed each time upon entering the room. It only lingered for about 15-30 seconds. It wasn’t horrible, We wondered if someone previous in the room was vaping or something like that. Otherwise our stay was very nice."

"Room was clean, but very tight for a wheelchair and crutches. We had to fold up the wheelchair in order to fit 4 people into the room. I did make a reservation for a handicapped accessible room. The room had a ton of outlets for electronics so that was nice to be able to charge everything for our road trip. Room also had a fridge which was great for medical supplies. Pool was freezing, even my kids refused to swim into there. The hot tub was nice, not too hot. Breakfast was good. Normal hotel breakfast. I was a little disappointed that you had to pay for water though ($1)."

"Staff is amazing, always ready to help with any need. The breakfast has become an expected thing with Holiday Inn Express and the ladies taking care of it here did an incredible job considering the hotel was completley booked with a wedding, high school sports teams, racing teams competing at US 131 in Martin and the normal travellers they always take care of. Despite being right off 131, you don't hear traffic noise which is great too. Single complaint, while advertised as a "smoke free" facility, people sit and smoke on the bench right outside the front entrance. While unpleasant it won't stop us from staying here again."

"Beautiful place to stay. Only one night, however, I wished it was more! Comfy beds, very nice patio to sit and relax. One piece of advice, check to see if they are having a wedding or another event at the boathouse. I was there on a Sunday night and it was loud. Could not sleep, people walking by patio until 11 pm."

"Great property. When checking out, the only comment we made to them was the heat/air unit was loud. Not a great sleep. They said they had not previously been told about it and would send maintenance to look at it. If we were in the area and needed a hotel, we would stay again."
