"This was a great property for our multigenerational group. The main floor bedroom was ideal for the grands. The upper bedrooms are large and there was ample closet space which was appreciated since we all had special occasion suits and long gowns. The young adults appreciated their own comfortable space with couches and a TV. This house is well equipped both inside and out. You don’t need to bring anything for the kitchen. Our stay happened to be during the season’s first nor’easter so we were disappointed that we could not take advantage of the spacious yard, fire pit and large porch. The gate to the beach was not accessible during our stay. If there were better weather we would have spent time in the yard enjoying the gardens and fire pit. Robert the host, was easy to communicate with and responded timely to our questions and suggestions. If you have a larger group or love to entertain this is a great choice. The location is convenient to farms, wineries and cider houses as well as chain stores."

"Good hotel benefited by a good lobby and the delightful Annabel who welcomed us when we arrived after a long journey and managed to arrange food for my family just before the kitchen closed. She looked after us and friends over our stay and made us all very welcome Rooms were spacious though a little dark and we were surprised that given the cost of the hotel room they were only cleaned every other day Facilities are good though and it’s a great base to visit this lovely island. Would happily stay here again"

"The Boatel was absolutely awesome! From the moment you walk in the door the cleanliness and brightness of the home is stunning. We loved all of the windows which offered a beautiful panoramic view of the river. We sat out on the deck for the majority of our stay enjoying the ducks, fish and passing boaters. Kathyrn was extremely helpful and her timely responses made the visit much smoother. The boat house was such a unique experience and we would highly recommend staying for a peaceful change of scenery. You won't regret it!"
