Used to stay here when it was the trinity hotel. Very old and worn now. Had to call them to turn the heat on to the room and they turned it off sometime before morning. Only good thing was the price

Places not to stay.

The hotel was old and showed its age. The beds had only a comforter and no top sheet. The bathroom had Mold and/ or mildew.

Centrally located

Posted 16-Apr-2016
Bed was basically a spring with a mattress cover on it, noise from hotels air conditioning units and restaurant extractor right outside the rooms very small window. Bathroom floor was filthy as you could see from the tile grout. This aside the staff were great and the hotel is centrally located so is ideal for getting about

Good location and sufficient for a city visit.

Posted 29-Mar-2016
Pros: its location
Cons: Parking facilities to be included when booking
Location: Restaurants, Guild Hall, City Wall and sights within it, Shopping Centre all in walking distance.
The hotel was ideal for our purpose. Reception desk personnel was very friendly and helpful; I had inquired regarding parking spaces nearby (parking is not included at hotel) and was advised about a reasonable, safe and easily accessible parking possibility.

Dump

Posted 18-Jan-2016
The place was a dump. The heater was not plugged in so you walked into a cold room. Turns out the heater was broken anyway. There were beds for three and barely towels for two - typical of a cheap hotel. We were unexpectedly stuck on town for a night and it didn't even have the complimentry toiletries of a regular hotel which would have been great in that situation. Damage, broken knobs, even an iron shaped melt mark in the carpet was everywhere in this dingy little hole. Suitable to bring a street worker but not your wife.
