Nice hotel right next to the Tower Bridge.
Hotel atrium is beautiful. We booked our flight and hotel room through Expedia. So, of course, we got what we paid for. We got the smallest room I have ever seen in my entire life. It was overlooking the River Thames. Honestly, if I had known it was going to be that small and uncomfortable, I would have called the hotel directly and just booked a bigger room. In fact, that is exactly what I told the hotel staff when we got in that night. Also, the room was cold and the thermostat did not work (they did bring us a heater right away).
I spoke to one of the hotel staff members at the Reception desk and explained that my husband I were on our honeymoon and we really did not want to be in such a tiny room (I mean, we could not even put one of our suitcases on the floor and open it up without having to step over it - we had two big suitcases and two carry-on bags). Anyway, the gentleman first told us he had nothing, but then, something must have magically opened up (in his mind) and he gave us an awesome room! The room was overlooking the Tower Bridge!! It was amazing. The view was beautiful both at night and during the day.
The room itself was okay. It was not very modern at all and certainly not updated. There were barely any outlets in the room and, of course, it was cold. Luckily, we kept the portable heater given to us in the first room. Bathroom was small and pretty plain. Actually, it looked like someone took a tiny hammer to the tiles on the floor.
