Felt very secure with multiple locks to the various hotel levels. The only negatives i would say is small issues with wear and tear with the room just a little bit here and there would help. We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the pub in the morning. The bathroom was extraordinary. There is a Tesco over the road, but the room was stocked with milk, coffee and tea anyway which was lovely. We were unable to turn our radiator off (room 5) and unable to turn the air-con on which made us too uncomfortable to sleep properly, lucky we could open one of the 3 windows. Would stay again if the radiator could turn off. Room was huge and comfortable. Bathroom was huge and stylish. Staff were excellent. The only negative, is the pub does not offer breakfast during the week. Whilst there are lots of local places to grab coffee, thry were all takeaway. The only thing I'd like to note is that for the high quality of the property, the windows could do with some updating. The wooden window on my room (room 4?) didn't close entirely and let a lot of noise in from the streets outside (police sirens throughout the night at around 15-min intervals). This didn't make for a good night's sleep.
