The flat was fun and great for having a few friends over to enjoy the rooftop and great views. The living room is a nice size,
nicely decorated, and great for entertaining. There is some wear and tear but nothing too bad. The unit is very clean and there were extra towels inside the sofa bed that was nice. There are two large windows that slide open - great views into Old Compton. The bedroom is surprisingly quiet - there’s a door to close off the living room and then the bedroom door itself so you do not hear street noise at night. There is however some sort of motor that cranks up after midnight and runs most of the night. We’re not sure what that was?
Our only complaint is the bed. It was advertised as a king size bed in the listing (one of our few requirements.) To our dismay it was smaller than a queen size - my guess is it is a full sized bed? The bedroom is small and cramped so a king size probably would not fit. The bed is moderately comfortable.
But overall a very nice stay. The shower never ran out of hot water. When entering the building downstairs you have to pull the second door pretty hard. At first we thought it was not unlocking- pull it hard. Communication was good.
