The hotel is in an old building and it has a lot of charme. The rooms are nice and comfy, even though a little small. As the building is old, there is no elevator. Space was limited in our double room, more of a challenge in the heatwave despite a decent plugin fan, and could make longer stays less comfortable, but for a short stay the attention to details and location it is perfect. Noise could be a problem if neighbours were loud, but the windows do a great job of blocking street noise. Large fresh towels, powerful shower and nice products, hairdryer and Nespresso. We didn't need the coffee machine though because the service downstairs was just too good. The breakfast was outstanding and overseen by a small, friendly and highly efficient team who embodied the hotel spirit with their eye for detail and accommodating attitude. That is why I booked this hotel. Upon arriving I was told NO, only the restaurant was. I tried to explain that it was on their website and on Expedia and that I relied on that, but they kept arguing that that was not the case. I don’t think that they know what they are talking about. Very disappointing to say the least.
