The door is hard to open to get into the room because it backs right up to a bed so a bit awkward. But overall, great experience, very social hostel, helpful staff. Super close to Borough Market which is a must. We’d have to suck it in to get the door open as it practically hit against the bunk beds. Says it has elevators which it does, but then still had to take some stairs to get to the women’s oasis area (not many, but hard with recently having shoulder surgery and having luggage). Charge hourly rate if you arrive early and want to store luggage. Staff greatly vary in friendliness/helpfulness. I’ve paid a lot more for hotels with none of the above. Very good location close to the underground and the grey line which goes to the O2 in case you’re looking for a place to stay after attending a concert. Check in is fast and easy. There ale lots of shops nearby. Good and bad. Good was the staff at reception was friendly. And the location was excellent and price was right Bad Loud. Waited close to three hours for my bed to be ready after check in.that same night someone came in and said I was in her bed because they had double booked my bed. It’s was very loud. Not very clean and the housekeeping staff was rude, loud and very bad at their jobs. They would pull trash then leave it all over the floor to come back a few hours later.
