The property was unclean when we arrived with unvacumed carpet, dirty walls & cigarette butts on the ground in the outdoor area. There was no shower curtain in the main bathroom which meant that the way the shower was configured water would spray all over the entire bathroom & toilet, there was no bathmat. The ensuite bathroom was unfinished as the shower is not connected to anything so cannot be used so there is actually only one shower in this property. The bench top in the kitchen is all smashed off and whoever the builders were in the property did an awful job, kickboards were fallen in, holes and gaps everywhere, the kitchen door edges were so rough & sharp as not been sanded that it is dangerous. There were no teatowels and only 3 glasses although we had 7 people staying. The beds are not very comfortable though they are better than sleeping on a plane seat for sure. The toilets upstairs are dodgy and sometimes fill up & are blocked. The paper blinds in kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom are broken and unable to be put up so I just went and bought pegs so we could put them up. Where the key is left is the rubbish area which gets covered with rubbish so its a bit gross at times. On a positive note, its a really handy area one minute from the train station, with a great little coffee cart & short walk to Tesco. After two days the agents dropped off some teatowels and a bathmat and installed a shower curtain for us and a box of chocs. No part refund was provided.
