About this property

Music-Lover's Flat Vinyl Icons Spitalfields

  • This is not your average London apartment. Strype Street has been designed around a love of music- from the gallery wall of framed icons, signed memorabilia and gold records, to the working record player waiting for you to choose your first vinyl of the evening.

The concrete-effect feature wall sets the tone the moment you walk in - dramatic, distinctive and unlike anything you'll find in a standard city flat. The king bedroom is calm and well-appointed, while the white leather sofa converts to a comfortable double for a third or fourth guest.

Fair warning: the floors have their own soundtrack. The original wooden boards creak with character, a reminder that you're staying in a genuine period building in the heart of historic Spitalfields.

    What You’ll Love
▶ Vinyl record player- choose a record and settle in for the evening
▶ Gallery wall of music icons
▶ Cherry red semi-hollow guitar- a stunning centrepiece on the feature wall
▶ King bed with firm pillow top mattress for a restful night
▶ White leather sofa bed as an additional sleeping space
▶ Nespresso machine for proper morning coffee
    ▶ Fully equipped kitchen
▶ Dining table perfect for meals or remote work
▶ Fast fibre Wi-Fi throughout the apartment
▶ Secure building access with quiet courtyard

    Location

Strype Street sits in the sweet spot between three of London's most exciting neighbourhoods- Spitalfields, Shoreditch and the City of London. Step outside and within five minutes you can be at Liverpool Street, Brick Lane, Spitalfields Market or Aldgate.

This is East London at its most vibrant with street art, independent restaurants, world-class food markets, boutique shops and some of the best nightlife in the city, all within walking distance. Yet the moment you step back through the courtyard door, the noise of the city falls away completely.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire apartment. Access is through the courtyard and via lockbox for easy self check-in. Check-in instructions and all property details will be sent ahead of your arrival.

We love hosting and always here if you need anything, just a message away. We respect your privacy and give guests their own space to fully enjoy the apartment, but we're quick to respond if any questions come up before or during your stay.

We kindly ask that you treat our home with the same care and respect as you would your own. Smoking, parties, excessively loud music or noise and disruptive gatherings are not permitted.

The vinyl record player is available for guests to use, please handle with care and return records to their sleeves after use.

Please note a noise decibel monitor is installed in the living room for the comfort of neighbours. It records no audio, only measures sound levels.

We hope Strype Street feels like a proper home from the moment you arrive. Put a record on, make a coffee and enjoy one of London's greatest neighbourhoods. 🎵
