There was a host of problems from the day we arrived. The bedroom curtains and shelves were dirty, as were most cutlery and crockery items. The fridge shelves were very precarious and the unit fascia board under the dishwasher had fallen off. There was a broken shelf on the coffee table. These items were reported.There were no dishwasher tablets and only one bath towel; both later supplied. There was no tea-towel and no oven glove. The broken unit was not repaired as promised.The next day we found that there was no microwave plate. One was provided, but the microwave did not work; nor did the dishwasher! A written list of the above was given to reception the following morning and we were told that a change of room would be arranged and that they would ensure that everything worked! When we returned later, no change had been actioned (we were actually shown a room which had not been cleaned!) and a transfer to Marlin Aldgate was arranged. We had to wait nearly an hour for the taxi they arranged because of a mix-up with the booking. Having spent 2 nights/3 days there, we were glad to leave, having wasted far too much time complaining in reception, where it was clear that we were not the only dissatisfied customers. Apart from the receptionists Mia and Shania, who were as helpful and sympathetic as they possibly could be, our stay was very unsatisfactory. We have no complaints about the Aldgate branch. Finally, 2 weeks after checkout, our deposit is still showing as 'pending'!

Well located hotel. However the Room was very dirty, could not use microwave as the inside was very dirty black. No curtains in the living room and they had to use a bed sheet. Kitchen faucet got bad 2nd night and had water running through the night. In all the property was not ready to receive guest.

Easy access to travel around London Clean and had good facilities for example kitchen and microwave. However room could had a comfortable armchair.
