The Metro rail is a nice 5 minute walk from the apartment. we walked to Buckingham palace without a problem and it took us about 20 minutes to get there from the apt. It was freezing outdoors, but the heater in the apt. was amazing. In drei Minuten ist man an der U-Bahn (Pimlico) und in 8 Minuten an der Viktoria-Station. Die Buslinie 24 (u.a. zum Trafalgar Square und British Musuem) hält direkt vor Haustüre. Und man kann auch einen Spaziergang zum House of Parliament machen (Westminster Abbey). Die Gegend ist mittel nobel; es gibt diverse Supermärkte, die bis 22:30 auf haben. Die Wohnung ist zwar schon etwas abgenutzt, aber dennoch sauber und es funktioniert alles, also TV, Wifi, Kühlschrank, Herd etc. Auf den insgesamt zwei Doppelbetten (in getrennten Zimmern) kann man gut schlafen.
