A little too loud

This property is exactly as pictured. However, it is on the first floor and about 7 feet from a busy intersection. We were there during a heat wave and had to leave the windows open. It was very loud all night long. When we arrived there was also laundry drying from the previous tenant. The manager tried to be helpful, but there was nothing to do about the noise. It also says in the listing that it is close to the Metro. It is not walkable to the metro.

Stylische große Wohnung mit vielen Minuspunkten.

Schlüssel zur Wohnung war wie angegeben einfach zu finden. Haustür zur Wohnung kann nicht abgeschlossen werden und sah für uns wenig sicher aus. Die Betten hatten für uns viel zu weiche Matratzen und waren nur 140 cm. Ein sehr lautes brummen, ähnlich wie beim Schleuderprogramm der Waschmaschine kam aus der Putzkammer und konnte die gesamten 4 Tage nicht abgestellt werden was für uns sehr unangenehm war., zumal die Fenster den Straßenlärm nicht abgehalten haben. Bei unserer Ankunft war zudem die Toilette verstopft, kaum Toilettenpapier in der Wohnung ( Boxing Day und alle Geschäfte am Abend geschlossen). Die Wohnung war bei unserer Ankunft mäßig sauber, der Boden klebte an einigen Stellen und die Kochutensilien waren teilweise verschmutzt. Die Vermieterin hat die Reinigungskraft am nächsten Tag geschickt und diese Dinge behoben. Das brummende Geräusch lässt sich leider nicht abstellen, was man wissen sollte, wenn man sich für diese Wohnung entscheidet. Die Gegend ist etwas außerhalb, was uns bewusst war, allerdings ist der Straßenverkehr trotzdem enorm und die Gehend nicht besonders schön. Mit dem Bus oder auch dem Zug kommt man gut in die Stadt. Was auf den Bildern im Internet leider auch nicht zu sehen ist, wenn die Gardinen aufgezogen sind sitzt man wie in einem großen Schaufenster! Da wir viel unterwegs waren hatten wir die Gardinen immer geschlossen. Für uns ein enttäuschender Aufenthalt, da wir schlecht schlafen konnten. geschlossen)
