Very disappointing! Carpets not vacuumed (2 rooms), cobwebs. Scalding water for showers both rooms. Cold water available in bathroom sinks. Location good,, near an underground.

Stay ruined by noise

Private party going on in the room below the bedrooms, music didn’t stop until 1:15am, total lack of consideration for people staying there. Plenty of other problems but to be honest they pale into insignificance compared to the noise we had to put up with.

Nice pub. Disappointing rooms.

For the price paid, this was a disappointing stay. Room could have been much better. Double bed was 2 small singles fixed together. Mattresses were tired / uneven, bathroom was outdated and shabby. It was functional but not what we had expected. Images show nice looking rooms, and they do look nice at first glance. But it’s soon clear that it’s all surface-level. Room was hot and stuffy. Only some windows would open. Others were painted shut! TV is old and doesn’t even receive BBC channels properly. My daughter stayed in the top floor room and that was worse than our 2nd floor room. Location is excellent and the pub downstairs is really nice. Staff are very friendly. But the standard of the rooms let this place down. For the price paid, we expected better.

Fantastiskt boende.

Utmärkt säng i rummet, sov fantastiskt bra trots centrala London. Utmärkt bemötande av ägaren. Väldigt bra ölsortiment i puben, bra frukost också (mot en extra kostnad). Inte alls långt ifrån Hammersmith eller Ravencourt Park stationer. Skulle högt rekommendera.

Charming stay. We stayed upstairs and our room didn’t have windows. It was so hot and the fans didn’t do much. Not the cleanest — hair in the tub and the carpet was worn out. Staff was helpful.

Wir haben die Unterkunft gebucht, weil das Haus so "urig" aussieht und die Zimmer so individuell waren. Im EG ist ein Pub, darüber befinden sich die Zimmer. In der Nähe gibt es 2 U-Bahn Stationen. Die Zimmer sind hellhörig, aber ganz nett eingerichtet. Leider war das Badezimmer und auch der Schrank und Sekretär ziemlich eingestaubt. Toilette war nicht richtig sauber und der Boden um das Waschbecken herum wurden schon wochenlang nicht mehr gewischt. Zudem lagen Haare von vorigen Gästen unterm Waschbecken. Zimmerreinigung hat nicht immer stattgefunden (obwohl das Schild dafür an unserer Tür hing). Frühstück kann man am Wochenende im Pub bestellen. Von der Karte und gegen Aufpreis - Hotelgäste erhalten 15 % Nachlass. Das Pub ist cool - vor alkem der Barkeeper war sehr freundlich. Check in ist laut Expedia bis 22 Uhr. Unser Flieger war zu spät und wir kamen erst um 23 Uhr an - war kein Problem. Check in ist eh an der Bar. Insgesamt wars ein ganz guter Aufenthalt. Wir waren vorher schon 2 x in London und dieses Hotel ist so gut wie jedes andere in der Preiskategorie.

Poor rooms

Friendly staff but rooms are not good. Moved after the 1st night due to bathroom light not working and sound of scratching like mice in the night. Second room moved to Westminster had debris on the carpet I think from the aging windows and stains all around the bed.

Sofa bed was really uncomfortable and not big enough for our 11 and 13 year olds. The bed was also not made up on our arrival and we weren’t supplied with extra towels or bedding for the 4 people we had booked for. In fairness we didn’t complain at the property as we just wanted an early night although there is quite a lot of noise from the bar and main road even when it was a fairly quiet Sunday & Monday night (granted for London)

On going brawl outside Walls paper thin so could hear an entire phone conversation after closing time. Creaky bed meant you could move without making noise. Bathroom could have been cleaner, mouldy floor. Suspect pest box in the room. Staff however were very friendly!

Disappointing Prince of Wales Town House stay

Disappointing, room (Westminster Bridge room) grubby, tired and noisy, carpet stained, window wouldn’t shut fully (with this room facing a busy road better sound proofing is needed, fixing the window would be the first step). Attached pub ok, however it inexplicably closed on at 10pm on the Friday evening! We won’t be returning ..,.
