He was very prompt in responding to every text message. His place is very clean and conveniently located outside of central London, yet within easy access to the city within 25 minutes. The flat is well equipped with everything one may need and has a lovely terrace/balcony with a bistro table and a sun lounger. We will definitely stay there when we are in London next and recommend Simon's place to everyone we know. Cons: Clothes dryer in hall draped with laundry just as you walked in, linens need upgrading some pillow coverings were torn and miss matched towels, mattress on bed was smaller than box springs so sheets would not stay on the mattress when sleeping, no coffee pot only an electric pot to boil water super great for tea but instant coffee Ugh. Pro: bright clean apartment, nice neighborhood setting, about 15 - 20 minute walk to Train station. Very comfortable for 2-3 people even with blow up bed in living area. Public transportation in the area was very easy to use, and it was great that there was a tube station less than a 20 min walk away. The neighborhood was lovely and also felt very safe. There was a wonderful variety of restaurants and cafes in the area. My friend and I used the sofa as a second bed and it was so comfortable as well.
