Its nice to have a kitchen as we ate in for breakfast everyday, and cooked a couple of dinners in. The communication was terrible. They refused to communicate with me via the app and only after we had communication did they update the app. Liz was standing outside when I got there and was very irritated because my Uber driver dropped me at the wrong address. She got very aggressive with me and was rude and insulting. I ended up not staying there. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe after the treatment I had received. I left there and went to a hotel. They accuse me of asking for a refund so I would be able to get a refund at a later time. Not true - I waited 17 hours for a response and was frustrated because I did not know what time I would arrive and they insisted on an appointment. I put the keys in the wrong place when I left so they were upset with me. I will use this as a learning experience going forward. ##### Janet D. The unit also is very well equipped with all the appliances, utensils, etc. any one would need who wanted to make their own meals during their stay. A portable recirculating fan also is provided. My wife and I were there during some of the hottest days of the summer and the fan together with the windows that open kept the unit very comfortable for sleeping. The neighborhood is both very quiet and convenient. Our open windows were but feet from the sidewalk and never were we disturbed by any outside noise except for the occasional emergency vehicle passing by. There are a fair number of restaurants in the area as well as a Tesco market just a few blocks down the street. The unit also is just an easy walk from Victoria station. Finally, the hosts left some welcome snacks as well as tea and coffee, all of which were very much appreciated, especially the coffee on our first morning there. I highly recommend the unit for anyone looking for a comfortable, well equipped place in a quiet neighborhood convenient to restaurants, a grocery store, and, of course Victoria Station. ##### Dominick H. There’s a Tesco supermarket and other stores on the way. The place was well furnished for the most part but old. There is no AC (which was listed as one of the amenities when I booked), but there is a small fan and a heater. The apartment is small but enough for 1-2 people (one can stay comfortably). The double bed was uncomfortable and small for two people. You get two small tubes of shampoo for the whole duration of the stay and no detergent for the washer. What kind of ruined the experience for me was being accused of having a 3d guest. The past two weeks were extremely hot but we only had a comforter to share and two throw on small blankets (they don’t provide additional sheets). When we were brought the new clean sheets, we were not sure if we needed to remove the comforter cover. Liz, one of the hosts stormed back (5 minutes notice) and asked for the duvet cover (probably thinking that we were using it for our inexistent 3d guest) and accused us of sleeping on the couch just because I had used the comforter to cover myself while watching TV. I think they need to trust their guests a little more and not make everything about money and additional charge. Overall, this place was worth the money considering their location.
