The staff was so helpful and took care of everything we could need on our visit. You could hear the underground train pass by every so often, but it didn’t bother us at all. It's actually a very quiet neighborhood. The Gloucester Tube station is about half a mile or a 10 minute walk away. There is a grocery store just down the street and plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. I have stayed at most of the 5-star properties in Mayfair/knightsbridge and the rooms here are better than most. The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant or bar. The way it works is you order your own delivery and the front desk will deliver it, like that of a serviced apartment. Every staff member I met was very friendly and accommodating.
