This location was perfect for our stay. Being so close to the park and playground with our 1-yr-old was a huge win. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and two tube stations within a quick walk. The home is in a quiet, peaceful area — perfect for relaxing. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our visit. Check in process was a little challenging but went smoothly overall. The downstairs was a bit warm there are fans and it helped. The upstairs the ac was great for our family. The evening time when we were there if you open the skylight just don’t talk loud because you can hear it with everybody windows open. This property is in a perfect location for exploring London. Two tube stations nearby, each about an 8 minute walk away. Several bus stops are also nearby. 15-minute walk from Paddington station. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. The flat is clean and spacious with a well-stocked kitchen and 2 large bathrooms along with 3 bedrooms. Plenty of space for 4 adults. Just a few minutes walk to the tube station, getting anywhere in central London was easy. Ubers and taxis were also readily available. The flat itself is just as pictured and was very clean and nicely decorated. Communication with Valerie was easy and she provided loads of information prior to checkin and was readily available for any questions during our stay. The checkin process required picking up the key at a local market which was only mildly inconvenient…definitely not a deal breaker for staying there again. All in all we can highly recommend Valerie’s flat for a fantastic stay in London. Everything you need is in this flat and anything you want is very close by - groceries, tube, Hyde Park, pubs, tourist sites, etc. The location and comfort made an ideal "home away from home" for 14 days for our family of 5 including two teens and mom/grandmother. The furnishings and bedding are very lovely and comfortable. The appliances are modern and work well. The hosts were extremely responsive and efficient when handling a maintenance issue that arose during our stay. The remote key pick-up/drop-off process was a little intimidating and confusing at first but I think it's because it was the first time we encountered this method in our travels. Upon obtaining the keys we quickly realized the efficiency of it and I only mention it if it's something new to you... I suggest it's easier to leave the majority of your party (and luggage) in the building lobby while one or two of you take the few minutes to go retrieve the keys. It really is easy!
