This handsome home embodies a perfect mix of the old and new, in this historic square, which is a delightful oasis at the heart of Hoxton, surrounded by an eclectic mix of industries, independent shops, bars and restaurants on the square and along Old Street. This incredible home comprises a main living space with spectacular city views on the top floor, and three double bedrooms and two bathrooms on the floor below. It is finished to a high standard throughout, with a contemporary monochrome décor, wooden floors, underfloor heating, HD television with access to Netflix inclusive and smart lighting/sound systems and the fastest WI-FI available. It is accessed directly via a private lift to the top floors only, or by stairs from another entrance. The entrance hall houses a feature floating staircase leading to the open-plan main living space. This impressive space extends to over 30 feet and has amazing natural light due to its pavilion-style design, with full height soundproof windows on all sides. This property worked beautifully for our family of four. Julian was fabulous to work with and was incredibly responsive to every inquiry we had. The location was amazing and the property was as promised. Communication with the owner was great. He was really accommodating. Very stylish and an incredible deck with a beautiful view. As we arrived, the building was under some renovations so there was a lot of dust, the elevator broke, but we got help right away. There were a few things in disrepair in the flat like a broken chair and some cracked mirror on the table, but that was all. Tons of storage, good linens, lots of towels and good amenities. Quick walk to the tube. The neighborhood was bustling and I felt completely safe at all hours. A few items to improve: The entryway to the building and to the lift was in need of a refresh, but the flat itself was clearly redone. The apartment was a good base for us to travel from. There were some small things that could have been better that kept us from a 5 rating. The rooms were recently updated and nice but not completely finished everywhere. It was sparsely stocked for 6 people. Just 6 settings of dishes and towels. Hard to keep washing everything with no backups. Carpet in living area needs replacing and dryer did not work. Terrace and outside furniture in rough shape.
