London

All aboard a capsule of the London Eye
All aboard a capsule of the London Eye
View from the south bank of the Thames across to Whitehall Gardens.
Stood actually on the Bridge, a bit busy with all the people walking by, but doable.

Shot whilst Lumiere London 2018 was on.
I get that it’s cool and good-looking monument, but man it’s 26GBP! I can feed myself for two days with that amount of money. Having that said and if you really really fancy a capsule ride, at least try to do it in a clear sky day to enjoy a decent view of the city. This will probably reduce your time window to 20 days/year but at least you won’t feel like a fool after spending so much money to see fog.

Very clean room. Room had great view! Friendly staff. Only very slight criticism is that the breakfast fruit on offer is a bit more akin to a lower grade hotel chain. Lots of apple and pear segments but nothing in the way of berry fruits. Otherwise it was a 5 star stay!

Stayed in a superior twin room on the 5th floor, which was clean and comfortable, with a walk-in shower (important because I have mobility issues). It was on the small side but not cramped.
