Close to underground and DLR. right above a Tesco express so very convenient. Lots of hot water. Modern interior. The concierge who greeted us on arrival seemed pleasant. Now for the negatives! Bath towels disgusting, had brown stains all over one of them and the second had a few. They did appear to have been washed but didn’t want to use. Tried to contact the concierge within the specified opening times but no response. Emailed the ?head office and got automated response to say they would be in touch, again this was inside specified opening times. Email reply received the next morning to say cleaner would change towels that morning. However we had already checked out. By that i mean left the keys on the table. And shut the door behind us as instructed. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was too hot, parts of it were like walking on hot coals, this was also reported. The bathroom needs some attention as one of the walls has been affected by the water, didn’t smell damp or look mouldy but the paint seems to be sliding off the wall. General cleanliness of bathroom was not great, particularly around the bath panel and shower door/divide. Stayed here 2 years ago and unlikely to return. The chain on the door doesn’t work as no large loop at the end to stop it sliding completely through. This was also broken last time we stayed! Overall very disappointing.
