Overall this was a good place to stay. My friend and I were busy sight seeing and just needed a place to sleep. Everything was cleanly, staff were very helpful and friendly and this was a nice, quiet area so it felt pretty comfortable and safe. Some of the amenities in the room were in rough shape, just from age and minimal upgrades, but of you’re looking for a place to sleep and don’t need fancy amenities, this is a good place for that!

It was cold and the heating was off. I called the reception to report the problem. After the service person examined it, he couldn’t fix the issue. Breakfast oatmeal wasn't tasty.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The Thompson was excellent all around. The staff was especially helpful and the valet service was a huge plus given the lack of available parking in the area. Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent, the only things that were kinda inconvenient were that there was no extra tissue when we ran out and that there’s a lot of noise in the middle of the night and early morning due to being in the middle of the city. Other than that it was excellent. I would definitely go back.
