Rustic Cabin Getaway with Hot Tub, Trails & Fire Pit
Welcome to The Getaway Cabin – a quiet woodland retreat designed for relaxation, simplicity, and a true escape from the everyday.
The cabin features one private bedroom with a full-size bed, along with an open loft offering a king bed and a twin bed—ideal for couples or small families.
Inside, you’ll find vaulted ceilings, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and an open living space that flows into a spacious, fully equipped kitchen. A flat-screen TV with satellite is available for winding down at the end of the day, along with updated, comfortable décor throughout.
Step outside and enjoy two inviting porches, along with a 6-person hot tub tucked just off the deck—perfect for relaxing while surrounded by the natural beauty of the woods. The outdoor space also includes a Blackstone griddle and a large fire ring, making it easy to enjoy meals and evenings outdoors.
The Getaway is designed as a place to disconnect. Traditional Wi-Fi is not currently offered; however, a cabin cell phone with hotspot capability is available for limited use. Connectivity can vary depending on conditions.
The cabin is located on a gravel road that is slightly steep, bumpy, and winding but manageable for most vehicles, though lowered vehicles may have difficulty. During winter weather, AWD or 4WD may be needed, and snow removal is professionally handled as needed.
Cell service varies by carrier, but the provided AT&T phone helps ensure reliable communication during your stay. The cabin uses well water, which is safe to drink, though guests who are sensitive to taste may prefer bottled water.
Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, enjoying a fire under the stars, or simply taking in the quiet surroundings, The Getaway offers a peaceful setting to recharge and slow down.

This was a comfy cabin close to Hocking Hills State Park. The hot tub and fireplace were fantastic and the kitchen was nice to have for a family. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay. A great location for pets.
We stayed over my daughter’s birthday weekend because she wanted a cabin with a hot tub! Secluded but easy to get to! Very clean and accommodating! Hot tub was amazing as well as the fireplace on a chilly, rainy evening! Close to Hocking Hills State Park and other activities. Would definitely book again!!
My friends and I had an amazing couple of days at this cabin! The hot tub and fire pit were great, and the cabin was clean and comfortable. We loved having meals out on the porch and taking in the views. The cabin did advertise wifi under amenities and I was hoping to get some work done over the trip, but unfortunately was not able to since it did not work. Perfect place to unplug for a few days, though! We would definitely stay here again.
The cabin is excellent and there is nobody within site from the location. It is a short drive to town or restaurants.
We would stay at this cabin again.
We loved our stay - spent 3 days relaxing and definitely enjoyed the hottub in the snow! Would absolutely stay here again. The owner was proactively communicative, and I highly recommend watching the YouTube video with driving directions to the cabin - super helpful!
Property and photos are just as described. Hot tub is absolutely amazing! Furnishings and beds are older, making them slightly uncomfortable and feeling a bit dingy or dirty. Overall, very good for the cost and a short stay.
The cabin was very nice! Hot tub was great. Owner was very helpful, we had 8" of snow during stay. He checked on us and got the road plowed. We were able to do some of the hiking we had planned.
We rented this cabin for a nice spring break stay. It was me, my husband and our 13 year old son. Oh, and our 2 dogs, of course. The cabin was perfect. Secluded, quiet, but with all of the amenities you’d need. Our AT&T service worked there, too, so we were able to be reached if needed. The fire pit was my fav spot, especially with the special outdoor lighting. The hot tub was super clean. We are already looking at dates to go back!
We had a great little family vacation staying at this cabin! We loved everything from the hot tub and fire pit to grilling our food and just sitting outside enjoying the quite outdoors. Most of our destinations were all within a 30 minute drive. Kids loved the beds upstairs!! Great communication with our host! I would recommend and would visit again!
My daughters and I recently stayed and enjoyed every minute from the star filled nights to the early morning visit to the hot tub. Perfect in every way. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin was clean and well-maintained, and communications with the host were prompt and helpful. He answered all of our questions and gave us lots of helpful tips about the area. We loved the fire pit and the hot tub. And we loved being so close to so many great things--loved hiking around Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, and Rock House. Thanks for a great stay!
The place upon arrival was spotless and smelled clean. Never saw a bug. It was decorated very nice and had everything needed except for what was told to bring. Hot tub very clean and enjoyable. Had fun at fire pit. Definitely recommend to family and friends who plan to stay in area.
This property was just what the dr ordered for a girls trip! Perfect size and amenities!! We did notice that only half of the jets in the hot tub worked. Also, when the stove was heating up the lights above the sink would dim.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We didn’t have any service, so make sure you download a map first. The path back to the cabin was very rough. I would have been worried if we wouldn’t have taken our truck. Make sure your vehicle can handle some rough terrain! It was very quiet and the view was beautiful!
LOVE this cabin!! My three kids, husband, and dog very much enjoyed our stay. There was a little of everything for us. We ventured out to Cedar Falls and hiked all the way to old man’s cave. We visited the Coffee Emporium, which is a must. Everything is in a reasonable driving distance. On our way home, we ended up stopping at the hocking outlet mall, which was very nice and the people were very friendly (dog friendly too) also had a cute little coffee place with putt putt.
If you’re looking for a super secluded place to escape that’s dog friendly, has a hot tub, and has a super long bumpy hilly car ride up to the cabin, this is your place. The road to the cabin was my favorite part. Having all wheel drive definitely helped us out.
We would definitely stay here again!
Upon arrival we noted how clean the cabin was inside and out. Everything was exactly as described. We had complete solitude and couldn’t see a single other cabin. In fact, the closest cabin would have been about 500 yds away through the woods, so privacy was top notch.the hot tub worked perfectly, we used it daily. And the fireplace was exactly what we wanted. We would absolutely stay here again. Cell service is nonexistent as described and that worked just fine for us. The outdoor fire pit looked very nice but we didn’t take the time to use it. We burned the indoor fire all day every day. Wood was available on the property for a fair price. All in all, the owners take great care and pride in their property.
