The property definitely shows its age, but my room was relatively clean and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made a difference. I booked a deluxe room specifically to avoid the shared washrooms, and that part worked out fine. The downside is noise, both from the street and from neighboring rooms, so light sleepers might struggle. There’s also only one elevator, and it can be slow during busy times. Overall, it’s an okay stay if you prioritize location and friendly service, but be prepared for an older building with some quirks.
