We had a wonderful stay in General. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. First, the sofa bed was uncomfortable. The springs were extremely painful, so I ended up sleeping on the sofa at 3 am. It was still uncomfortable, but tolerable. Second, the pillows were also uncomfortable. Third, the plates and utensils were discolored and chipped. Overall, the cottage was safe and spacious. The location was beautiful, but there was limited parking.

Pet friendly cottage, however, disconcerting to find two large stains in the carpet right in front of the bed. Cozy cabin, quiet, walking distance to little River Inn restaurant. Well appointed cottage.

Perfect stay! I do have one minor complaint, the hot tub jets need to be a bit stronger. Otherwise, perfect!

Large cottages in Little River, CA

The cottages are much larger than they appear on the pictures. It was a very comfortable stay - parking was convenient and we stayed at a cottage with one level. Really easy to get in and out of the property.

No utilities, no cell service, no internet, no water, no heat due to storm. No one contact me to notify of the situation! Power had been out since Tuesday, 12/23. I arrived at 10:00 PM on 12/24 and had no idea! We had to stayed that night. I tried to contact the emergence contact. It would have been much appreciated if someone had contacted me. I purchased the travel insurance, and I could have made other plans. Everyone was very nice, understanding, and accommodating once we were able talk with contact person.

This location was amazing!! Spoke to the staff about arranging a surprise for my partner and they met my expectations. The rental unit was nice and comfortable. So beautiful and relaxing. Will def. come here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The door code didn’t work when we arrived, but the property manager was quick to come help us. The amenities were wonderful as well. The shrubs could be cut back some and the spider webs around the cabins weren’t too appealing to see. Other than that, we loved it!

Good location but it has a few drawbacks.

I believe the cabins need some updating and the shower was difficult to control the water The kitchen was not well equipped…no cutting board, 3 forks , pans were in terrible shape. The location was great. The people I talked to were very nice and friendly. The grounds are very nice too.

Third time staying here. Clean with amazing views. Our cottage was in the back and had too much light coming in. From a night lamp outside. Otherwise great stay overall and pet friendly too.

The staff communication IF THE BEST ! They keep in touch with you till you arrive! They changed from keys to pin pad which was so convenient! Truly had an amazing stay , everything was clean and more stuff provided when asked . Suggested mats for kitchen and they took the suggestion . You are allowed to text the staff which is so convenient! Very very nice stay and so comfortable! Bed was very comfortable! I don’t like dogs or pets so asked them to make sure clean the furniture and they did a good job I didn’t see a single dog hair from previous people who stayed . The bathroom was super clean . Loved it !

Beautiful place to stay! Our unit was huge, with dramatic ocean views from the bottom and top floors. Full kitchen with everything you need. Felt like a relaxing private getaway for my husband, baby and I. The staff also provided us with a pack n play which was great. Great location close to town, the beach and hiking. Our only regret was not spending more time at the beautiful firepit! We will definitely be back.

Our room was at the very back of the property. I would not have chosen the location if i had the choice. The room was not clean (dog slobber on sliding glass door) and dog hair on carpet. The furnishings 9ld and outdated, carpet was worn.
