Hot-tub & dog-friendly walled garden Tamsin's Cottage is a light and spacious barn conversion well equipped with all modern conveniences. There are spectacular views of the countryside and valley extending into the distance. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with only the sounds of the birds for company, then look no further. Upon entering the cottage, you'll be welcomed by a spacious and bright kitchen/living/dining area characterised by its vaulted ceilings. This area has been thoughtfully updated for 2025 with a new kitchen and stylish Karndean flooring that enhances both aesthetics and practicality. Kitchen Features: Appliances: The kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your culinary needs, including: Double oven and hob, Microwave/combi oven, Dishwasher, full-sized fridge freezer Washing machine/tumble dryer, Nespresso espresso machine for coffee lovers Living/Dining Area: The open-plan design allows for a seamless flow between cooking, dining, and relaxing spaces, making it perfect for socializing or enjoying quiet moments. Bedrooms: The cottage features two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own en-suite facilities. Master Bedroom: Furnished with a luxurious four-poster king bed, equipped with a EMMA Next-Generation mattress for optimal comfort. The en-suite shower room has been fully updated in November 2025. Second Bedroom: Flexible sleeping arrangements, as it can be configured as either a twin (two single beds) or a double (one large bed). Just let us know your preference ahead of time. Outside you will find a large private patio, perfect for that morning cup of coffee watching a diverse range of birds enjoying the bird feeder, or for an al-fresco barbeque. There is also a 4-person heated hot-tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Cornwall's stunning coastal paths. It’s also a great way to relax under the stars, especially in our designated dark sky area where stargazing can be truly magical. If you have brought along your four-legged friend, the garden is walled, gated and secure. There is a public bridleway just in front of the cottage, ideal for an early morning or evening dog walk. We also have two fenced fields, where dogs may run and play off-leash when there is no livestock in residence. Conveniently located just outside the garden gate, the dedicated car parking area ensures easy access to the cottage. Solar panels and a ground-source heat pump provide central heating and hot water (backed up be electricity from renewable sources). We try to use eco-friendly products where possible. Summary: This cottage is designed for comfort and convenience, making it an ideal getaway for couples, families, or friends. The combination of modern amenities and cozy furnishings creates a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. If you have specific questions or need further details, feel free to ask! Dogs are welcome, please note there is a £15 per dog charge. Tamsin's Cottage is well placed for many beaches, towns and villages on the coast. Looe, (made popular by the BBC series "Beyond Paradise") Polperro, Lerryn and Fowey are all close by and the National Trust beach of Lansallos is a short drive away. Eden Project: The famous Eden Project is 30 mins drive away. Gardens & Stately Homes: Lanhydrock House is one of the National Trust's more popular properties and is only 20 minutes drive. The famous Lost Gardens of Heligan are also within easy reach. Sports There are several golf courses within a short drive, including Looe, Carlyon Bay and Lanhydrock - all of which welcome visitors. Lesley went out of her way to make our stay perfect, from a range of greeting treats, to meeting us upon our arrival. The cottage was lovely, clean, nicely decorated, and housed pretty much anything you could possibly need during your stay. We even managed a spot of baking whilst there. The hot tub is an extra touch which we all loved spending time in and watching the visiting birds and rolling hills in the distance. We had a week at tamsins cottage and can honestly say it's been amazing. Communication with the hosts was perfect and their attention to helping when needed was brilliant. The cottage itself is lovely, warm (needed with the cornish rain!!) And so well equipped, with good quality items. It's a perfect place to use as a base to go out and explore, or rest in front of the log fire or in the hot tub. Thankyou so much, we hope to be back! ##### Ruth R. A lovely hamper to greet us with homemade DELICIOUS jam; and even treats for our dogs… Lesley and James are close by should you need anything & they even helped us out with a pot of sugar that we’d forgotten… Polperro is a MUST visit nearby, beautiful little fishing village with some lovely shops and restaurants…. The cottage was so clean & immaculate in my eyes... Loved the hot tub & enjoyed a game of ludo as well. Overall i wiil highly recommend Tamsins cottage for a peaceful time away as was much needed for me my sister & friends & of course rupert & buddy the cockapoos loved there stay & the safe roomy garden to play in. The welcome pack was a nice touch thank you even a Bonio for each dog , Lesley and her husband ( I’m sorry I can’t remember his name) anyway they were lovely very approachable and helpful in many ways I would definatly recommend this cottage for many reasons ##### Vicki T. Loved the quiet peaceful location and places around. Cottage has all you need for a relaxing stay. On arrival greeted by fresh flowers,bottle of wine ,eggs,milk,cream teas with home made jam. Lesley was a super host happy to help with anything else we needed. Had many days out St Austel,Charlsetown,Newquay, Padstow,St Agnes, Bodmin Jail,Holywell, Looe ,Polperro, Mevagissey,Fowey and what treat after a long walk on the gorgeous coastal paths to return to a nice soak in the cottage hot tub. The facilities within and outside are of a very high standard and although Tamsin's Cottage is linked to the main house, the privacy is excellent. A delightful place to stay within easy reach of the South Coast pleasures. Lesley and Jim are lovely hosts and leave you to enjoy your stay whilst being on hand for any assistance. The hot tub under beautiful dark skies was very decadent and welcome after long walks with the dog. We very much enjoyed the welcome pack - delicious scones, a lovely bottle of wine and the lilies lasted all week and smelt divine. Highly recommended. ##### Joanna M.
