We had a fantastic few day’s holiday. A lovely welcome, from friendly owners / neighbours. Excellent communication before stay, including warning that the Wi-Fi might not be fixed in advance of our stay - it was fixed during our stay and worked well. Thank you.

A wonderful cottage, hosts and area.
A wonderful cottage, hosts and area. We have had a fantastic time - Jean and Chris have been so welcoming and there was a Cornish tea waiting for us after our long journey that day. Nothing was too much to ask and the cottage was a home from home so clean and everything had been thought of. It is in a perfect location for investigating and travelling round Cornwall. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage and we hope to be back soon!

What a wonderful find! This cottage is located overlooking Siblyback Dam and is a little remote but that is exactly what we were after! Such a clean cottage, very well equipped and warm! Lovely to arrive to a cream tea too! Jean was very good at keeping in touch before we arrived and key pick up went very smoothly. We will definitely be booking this cottage again.

This is honestly the sort of holiday you know deserves the most amazing reviews.
This is honestly the sort of holiday you know deserves the most amazing reviews...but part of you wants to keep it a secret from others!
I can't put into words how wonderful this cottage is. Jean and Chris have thought of everything in order to create a cosy home from home. The cottage is super cosy, in an amazing location with stunning views from the main bedroom (not to mention the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in!) . If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing base to explore Cornwall from you honestly can't go wrong here.
As if all of that isn't enough, their hospitality is second to none and we felt like we were leaving old friends by the time we left. We'll definitely be back!

An amazing bike ride around Siblyback Lake on your doorstep, and we also enjoyed Golitha Falls, again 5 mins away. A great time exploring Looe, Fowey and The Eden Project. We would love to return to this super cosy cottage.

From the moment we arrived following the clear instructions, Jean welcomed us to the cottage.
From the moment we arrived following the clear instructions, Jean welcomed us to the cottage. She even had a traditional cream tea and big pot of tea for us. The cottage is set in a very quiet peaceful location but is within easy driving distance of local amenities and the beautiful south Cornwall fishing villages. The cottage sits in a large sloping garden which the kids loved. An atmospheric old track leads to the top of the Sibleyback dam within a 15 minute walk. The inside of the cottage is characterful and well appointed. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and have all the utensils and mod cons that make a holiday easier for everyone. The beds deserve a special mention and with the comfort and peace and quiet I slept the best I have done on any holiday I can remember. Jean put out some cushions on the front seating area when we were out on our first day and watching the local bats and listening for the owls in the quiet surroundings was joyful. The cottage is lively, the surroundings so peaceful and Jean is the perfect host being there if she is needed but not intrusive. It really felt like we were staying with an old friend. We will definitely return.

Cosy cottage well situated for getting around the North part of Cornwall.
Cosy cottage well situated for getting around the North part of Cornwall. Lovely rural situation for relaxing away from it all. Adjoins owners property who gave us a very warm welcome with a cream tea. Property would benefit from adequate draught exclusion provision as we were there when Storm Gareth hit and the stable doors were not adequately insulated although in summer are no doubt a delightful feature! The owners thankfully had kindly provided an additional heater but the property took a long time to warm up! The kitchen diner is small which was fine for us being 2 adults but would be a squeeze for 4. We found everything we needed was provided.

My partner & I have travelled far & wide over the last 12 years & have stayed in literally dozens of self catering accommodations. I would highly recommend Trekeive Cottage ( which I already have done on several occasions ). The owners are very friendly, very thoughtful & genuinely lovely. The cottage is in a perfect location if you want to get away from the outside world. The cottage has absolutely everything that you could possibly want or need
