This boutique hotel is beautiful! Everything is curated so beautifully, it's in a great neighborhood, and feels safe! They have a lovely "honesty bar," tea in the garden, and amazing staff! One of the staff members, Anna was hospitable and kind--when I wasn't feeling well, she asked the cleaning staff to clean my room first and got me earlier! Don't hesitate to stay here. It's a beautiful unique place.

The staff were warm and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was in a great location. Although it was on a quiet residential street, it was very close to many great restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed relaxing in the second floor garden bar.

Great property and location. Our room was in the top of the property and was very quiet. The roof slopes so you have to really watch that you don’t bang your head! Lighting was very subdued.

Oasis with loving attention

An oasis in Lisbon, quiet, still walking distance to all. Peacocks in the neighbors garden added to the getaway experience. And they have the decency to be silent during the night. :-) Staff is lovely and super service minded. It's obvious they love their employer and their guests.

The staff was lovely. It is a cute hotel. The honor bar was adorable, the owner and all of the staff were very kind and for the most part very helpful. My only complaint, and unfortunately, it is pretty bad, is that the first night we were very uncomfortable because the air conditioning was not working, so we didn't sleep well. When I asked about it the next morning, the girl at the desk said that the other people on the second floor said something, so it must be out. I said it was hot. She said, yes the duvets are warm aren't they? So, I guess it is my fault for not pushing the issue, but when I do such things, it doesn't go over well with my husband. He suggested we open the windows for our second and last night. Unfortunately, since we were on the street side, and it was loud, all night long it was loud. My husband is hard of hearing, so he was fine. But I had two nights with no sleep, it kinda ruined Lisbon for me anyway. I'm not saying don't stay there, because it may have just been that person at the desk that morning, it wasn't the owner, perhaps check with them ahead and make sure the AC is working.

Loved this unique, earth conscious accommodation! Every detail had been thought out, the rooms are beautifully designed and the back yard and honor system is a treat. I also walked everywhere from the hotel, the location is fantastic! Will definitely stay here again when visiting Lisbon.

This is the kind of place I thought only existed in film or my imagination. The photos on this site are accurate by don't come close to capturing the true spirit of the property. My original booking was only for 2 nights and Im on pins and needles hoping I can spend my next 3 nights here before I leave. The breakfast foods are all homemade or are made very closely and delivered fresh daily. There is an honesty bar on a lush patio for a quiet solitary cocktail or discussion with fellow quests and around every corner there is something cheerful & sweet to discover that you didnt know you needed, and that will live rent free in your mind for years to come. 5 hearts on a scale of 5. Thank you.

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour (3 nuits du 26 au 29 décembre 2025) : - l'hotel est très mignon et bien situé, facile d'accès et permettant de se déplacer aisément à pieds, en bus, etc ... - notre chambre (Al Kantara) au second étage était d'une propreté impeccable, calme et très confortable et très joliment décorée. Ein Zuhause mit ausgezeichnetem Service

Sehr netten Empfang inklusive Begrüssung durch Pôlette (Hund) und anschliessende Hausführung. Kaffee, Tee und Kuchen stehen immer zur Verfügung und es hat einen kleinen Garten in dem man entspannen kann und sich selber Cocktails mixen kann (honesty bar). Wir hatten das Zimmer Lumiar unter dem Dach inkl. kleinem Balkon. Es war trotz Dachschräge gemütlich und ruhig, einzig das Bett war uns ein wenig zu weich aber jeder hat halt seine Präferenzen. Das ganze Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet mit der Liebe zum Detail und viele Bücher (auf französisch). Das Frühstücksbuffet war klein aber mit allem was man braucht und sehr hochwertig. Vor allem die Herzlichkeit der Menschen und der Service haben dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns wie zuhause gefühlt haben.
