Love love love this property. Great location relative to the airport, the main city center, and cultural spaces. Well priced. Helpful staff. Would absolutely book again.
Location on top of train station was great. Only problem was for taxi or uber pick up we had to enter on other side of train station entrance, not by lobby entry door. Drop off from airport was fine and in front door entry.
We loved staying here! As it’s located above a train station, getting anywhere by public transport was so easy. We were very surprised at how good the noise cancelling was in the rooms.
The hotel itself was clean, the room had nice touches to it and I loved the rustic decor. Would happily stay here again when in Lisbon.
This establishment is centrally located - easy access to all types of public transportation , bars and restaurants. The staff were professional, courteous and polite. They answered all of our questions with a smile. If you’re planning g a trip to Lisbon stay here.
wonderful hotel in a great spot. very clean. showers were very nice. great place to start our camino. we will come back. well worth the price to be able to roll out of bed and hit the train a few steps away.
This is a cool historic hotel, with the longest hallway I’ve ever seen! It is decorated with a train/travel theme. The rooms have a somewhat unique layout; the toilet is separate from the shower. It is above an active train station but the low, occasional rumbles aren’t disturbing; I thought it cool to hear them. The location is good; we were able to walk to Alfama, which is behind and above the hotel. The restaurant is very good, we enjoyed a dinner and the breakfast buffet was great. However, we most appreciated the service. They emailed me in advance to arrange an early morning transfer to the airport and confirmed the night before. They prepared breakfast boxes for us as well to take with us to the airport.
Front desk was very helpful. Gave good advice on public transportation and helpful suggestions of fun things to do with a very limited time to stay in Lisbon. Live the decor and the historicity of this place.
But I did stub my toe on a shower room door stop a few times😅
The view of the river was absolutely wonderful, and the hotel’s direct connection to the station made it extremely convenient. The interior was luxurious and beautifully designed, and overall I was very satisfied with my stay.
However, I was a little disappointed by the amenities, as there seemed to be fewer towels and other essentials than expected. I also regret that I missed the chance to enjoy the wine during my stay.
